Lymm Community Energy Launches its Community Benefit Fund 2021-2022

Up to £3,800 is available to community organisations in Lymm

Our Community Benefit Fund (CBF) is to help fund projects which lead to reductions in energy costs and carbon emissions in the local community. The size of the CBF currently stands at £3,800 which is the maximum we will be able to fund in this round. Applications are welcomed for funding up to this total or for smaller amounts.

We are keen to support projects which will improve the environment in Lymm and the surrounding area, with a particular focus on accelerating efforts to meet the net-zero carbon challenge. In addition, applicants should provide details of how they would learn from implementing their projects and how they would disseminate the results to achieve wider community impacts and learning.

The CBF is open to any organisations which provide services to the community in Lymm including schools, children’s nurseries, play groups, community centres, clubs, societies and churches. They should be located in the Lymm Parish Area.

The guidance document and application form can be downloaded below or you can request copies by sending an email to info@lowcarbonlymm.org.uk.  This is a rolling programme and applications can be made any time and they will be assessed on a first-come, first-served basis. Once all funding is allocated, the fund will close and no further applications will be accepted.
