In 2011 Low Carbon Lymm ran a successful Green Trail as part of the Lymm Festival. 11 homes were opened to the public for one day during July inviting people in to view a variety of green technologies and home improvements, we also had two Nissan Leaf’s to help people get from location to location around the village.
As a result of the positive feedback we received from visitors, Low Carbon Lymm is creating a ‘virtual’ Green Trail of Lymm. There are many homes that have made changes to their homes in order to reduce their carbon emissions and save money – and many of them are happy to open their doors and share their experiences with people looking to make some of those changes themselves.
Low Carbon Lymm will be playing match-maker to setting up opportunities for interested people to get in touch with those homes, and to visit, chat and ask questions of those residents. Below you’ll find a list of the types of technologies, domestic appliances and eco-friendly products that are available to view in Lymm – if you are interested in finding out more about any of these, please email email@example.com and we’ll aim to get you in touch with someone who can help.
